Job Title: Procurement Manager

Job Purpose:

 Accountable for Supply Chain Manager to ensure proper implementation of company procurement policy, ensuring providing accurate, timely and professional inventory control service that makes contribution to the company’s profitability and to establishing effective inventory levels, monitoring consumption to ensure availability of required inventory items.

Main Responsibilities:

Lead and manage purchasing operations, policies, and procedures.
Manage corporate equipment/materials vendors and services contractors local/overseas to identify potential sources for required materials, equipment and services.
Negotiates prices, deliveries, terms and conditions in order to obtain favorable terms for the Company.
Evaluates quotations/proposals and follows up on purchased items to ensure timely delivery.
Receives and reviews approved requisitions for Commodities, Machine, foreign spare part and services. Includes discussing with originators and determining categorization of requisitioned items – critical/stock/service, etc.
Develop corrective action plans of receiving noncompliance related to the quality or service from suppliers.
Release RFQ/RFP to the prequalified suppliers/vendors by most expeditious means depending on the urgency.
Evaluates vendors/suppliers offers and bids. Includes preparing comparison sheets outlining price and payment terms, other terms and conditions, specifications and delivery dates.
Expedite the ordered materials, pursue to collect the shipping documents for overseas purchase in the real-time, liaise with Logistic to assure start of clearance activities.
To be fully accountable for the quality, accuracy timeliness and effectiveness of reports, and KPI’s.
Supervise and coach the team members and set their yearly target and conduct the performance review on regular basis.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s: Business Administration, Supply Chain Management

Experience:

 Minimum 10 years previous experience in Supply chain, logistics, warehouse or any relevant role.

Job-related Knowledge:

Experience in developing business processes, SLA’s, KPI’s and business rules
Experience of local and international clearance regulations is mandatory
Experience of handling, storing and reporting on perishable goods is mandatory
Knowledge of purchase and procurement plans
Knowledge of local country tendering legislation
Knowledge of purchasing and procurement policy, procedures and processes is mandatory.
In-depth knowledge of warehousing and stock management is mandatory
